Lying in the Caribbean Sea and around 90 miles south of Cuba Jamaica is one of the most stunning islands for holidays in the world. The culture of Jamaica has come from many different sources over the years, each of which has added a unique attribute to an already fascinating place which is ideal for exploring on holidays. Having been ruled by the Spanish for 150 years then by the British for 300 and given independence in 1962, there are vivid influences of British, Spanish and African here, which leaves inspiring tribal traditions among others.
