Introducing Antalya
The capital of the Antalya Province, and the most important city on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey and not far from Marmaris, Antalya is one of the most popular spots for holidays in the whole of Europe. There are plenty of smaller villages that surround the area which are fascinating to visit including Perge, one of the most significant Roman ruins which lies only 15 km away. This is perfect if you decide to hire a car whilst on your holidays to venture into the more remote parts of the area, including the stunning mountain top remains of Termessos.
