A very prosperous country in the middle east and made up of seven states (or emirates) is located in the south-eastern corner of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf sea. In recent years it has become a very successful country after the discovery of oil here in the early '70s and therefore has become a much sought after destination for opulent holidays. It's capital and busiest city is Abu Dhabi, this makes a fantastic place to visit because of it's modern skyline and tax-free shopping status. The cost of living in the United Arab Emirates is somewhat higher than most countries, this is the only downside to it's success, so visitors must bear this in mind when booking their holidays. Getting to The United Arab Emirates
Five of the Emirates boast international airports to assist those on their holidays in and out of the country, two of these lay in Abu Dhabi and one of these is in Dubai. All of these airports are close to the main districts of the cities so transfers should not be a problem. Flights last around 7 hours and are usually direct from major UK cities with companies such as Emirates and Virgin Atlantic.

Standards in this city are higher than almost anywhere in the world and because of this they unsurprisingly work very hard to keep you there.
