Ventures in Vilamoura
Vilamoura is an excellent purpose-built resort on the central section of The Algarve coast. It is one of Europe's largest privately developed spots for holidays, offering holidaymakers every form of sport, entertainment and amenity under the sun. Named as an area rather than any specific town, the main idea on holidays in this area is fun and leisure, which is evident all over the resort from the brightly painted buildings to the chic and busy town centres. The designers spared no expense on the resort which built around a magnificent 1000-berth marina, alongside which are preserved Roman ruins that were unearthed during the construction back in the '60s; a stunning combination for even the most experienced traveller's holidays.
