Description: The Atlantis has been extended and upgraded over the years, and it is a great credit to the family that own it that its facilities would not look out of place in a higher category hotel! They gave it the first indoor pool on the island, built a conference room, squash court, gym and saunas, thus making year-round holidays a reality. There is an immediate feeling of warmth and friendliness. The outdoor pool area has a snack bar, jacuzzi and umbrellas and trees providing shade. Of note is the diving school on the premises; instruction is given in the indoor pool, equipment can be hired or bought and outings are then organised to the best sites around Gozo and Comino – of which there are many. A five minute walk will take you to the seafront. Marsalforn lives on fishing, tourism and, to a lesser extent, the making of salt. It is an attractive, unspoilt little town with a decent beach. There are just enough shops, bars and restaurants to provide diversity.
