Within the densely populated region known as The Golden Horseshoe, Toronto sits majestic, buoyed by its own splendour. It is by far the biggest city in Canada and it has taken this status and given it back out to the community. A colonial fort built up by a fleeing British soldier after the American Revolution, Toronto is now the financial, business and entertainment capital of the country.

Downtown Toronto has the famous CN Tower, theatres, outdoor skiing and snowboarding slopes, beautiful parklands and even an underground pedestrian tunnel system fit to burst with shops and stalls, great for winter when you don’t want to go out into the cold. The city is also home to some great cultural festivals.
